Professional House Washing in Pace, Florida

We had a Facebook messenger notification out of Pace, Florida last week. The message had asked if we would be in the area at anytime that week to provide an estimate for a house wash and driveway cleaning.

I responded by explaining that I could possibly provide an estimate within minutes with just a few pieces of information.

After the customer provided the address and a few photographs of the area in question, I was able to research the property online which provided me with all of the information I needed to give them a solid estimate. I had a quote within the hour for the homeowner and she was pleased with the price and fast response.

The service date was set same day and I assured the customer I would be in touch with her the entire time, sending updates on my arrival and sending before and after photos since she would not be home during the service.

Upon arrival, you could tell from the road that the driveway was going to make a great before and after picture from how dark the buildup of algae had gotten.

Walking around to the back of the house the small patio was no exception from the driveway.

The brick of the home had a good amount of green algae and dirt buildup near the bottom of the siding, there was also some black algae in the mortar between the bricks.

As alway, in a bundle cleaning package, we start on the driveway and brick with an application of cleaning detergent, putting the soapy suds on the entire surface of the driveway and all around the house to start working on killing the organics on contact.

After a few minutes of dwell time I start rinsing the home from top to bottom. Making sure to thoroughly rise all the spiderwebs, dirt, dead bugs, dead algae, and grime off the siding and windows.

Once I had the home sparkling clean, I then use just enough pressure with my pressure washing gun to get the rest of the dead organics off the bottom of the brick of the home.

Next I use my surface cleaner to wash every square inch of the back patio, driveway, and walkway. The dirty, murky water coming off the driveway started to puddle near the front of the garage door. This can happen from time to time on properties with low spots in the concrete.

That is not an issue for Mikie’s because we have the right equipment to redirect the dirty water off the concrete in the grassy areas leaving a pristine clean with no inconsistencies.

After pressure washing the driveway and making sure all the dirty water was washed off, I then laid down a post treatment, much like the first step, using the same cleaning detergent. This makes sure the concrete comes out consistent without lines of dark spots.

After sending before and after photographs to the homeowner, she was blown away from the results.
